Read a story
Kyle Schmidt
I am currently 18 years of age and diagnosed
with EPP at the age of 6. Growing up was hard when I would come
in crying to my mom telling her my feet and hands burned along
with my whole body. We would frequent the doctors but they never
had an answer, nothing but, its just a rash.
After I finally found out what was really
wrong, I felt better just being assured of a diagnosis. Still
nothing would help the burning and countless hours of pain I endured
anytime I stepped my foot outside. I try to keep confidence in
that someday in my lifetime there will be something that will greatly
help my condition.
