French Television Show Seeking Porphyria Patient
"The Doctors" French Television Show Seeking Patient With Porphyria....
"The Doctors" television show in France has asked the APF to help them find a patient with porphyria. Someone with porphyria to explain the daily lives of people living with this rare disease.
When the Canadian Association for Porphyria closed, they were not able, of course, to share any information about their former members with us so we are asking if you have contact with someone who has the following parameters:
- Lives in Canada in the Montreal, Quebec area
- Is fluent in French
- Has porphyria
They would like to interview the person in the next few weeks for television or in September for a radio program. The person would be asked to explain what it is like to live with a rare disease on a daily basis and to explain the disease. If you fit the parameters and would like to participate, please contact the APF and let us know you are willing.
