WE HAVE THE HR2674 BILL ALMOST DEFEATED!
HOORAY FOR OUR MEMBERS!
After over 100 of our members set up petitions for signatures and personally petitioned their Congressmen to add a rare disease exclusion to HR 2674 and visitations to Congress by Mr. Ed Geffner, Mr. James Young and Desiree Lyon Howe, it appears we have made an enormous impact on this bill. At this point, they may not vote on the bill until the spring, if then.
You have all done a fantastic job and deserve a Medal and highest Praise. We were up against a huge, wealthy, hospital lobby. But, we are in the "right" and "right" is on our side.
We thank you for your continuing involvement. We will keep you posted on the proceedings.
