	Educational materials As a Sponsor, you'll get exclusive porphyria educational brochures that help you learn about the disease, diagnosis, treatment, and symptom prevention. Each brochure is written and developed by the APF Advisory Board, a team of the world's formost experts on porphyria. Topics include: porphyria overview; treatment with Panhematin^® (hemin for injection); acute porphyria overview; diet and nutrition; and many others.

	In-Touch Don't miss out on one of the greatest benefits of being an APF Sponsor! Please JOIN our In Touch network along with hundreds of others. This network enables you to meet other Sponsors with porphyria through email, meetings or other preferred forms of contact. From there, Sponsors communicate with one another, share advice, and receive unique peer-to-peer emotional support not easily found anywhere else. Who knows, someone with porphyria could be in your hometown. There is no charge to be in this helpful program if you are a foundation Sponsor. We only require that you sign a permission slip authorizing us to release your name and contact information. Our Sponsors' privacy is of utmost importance to us. You'll find the consent form in the Sponsorship Information form under Join. If you already are a Sponsor, please feel free to complete this permission slip or contact us directly, and we'll be happy to provide you with a copy to sign. Return it to us via fax or mail. Sometimes Sponsors are unable to pay the yearly $35/$45 Sponsorship donation. If so, your donation can be waived. Simply mail a signed, written request to the address below. Sorry, email requests and phone calls will not be considered.
