Dr. Peter Tishler
Dr. Peter Tishler is a renowned Sponsor of the APF Scientific Advisory
Board. He also serves as:

Associate Professor of Medicine
at the Harvard Medical School
-
Medical Geneticist at the Center
for Human Genetics at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston,
Massachusetts
-
Director of Residency Training at the Brockton/West
Roxbury VA Medical Center.
His particular clinical interests are in the areas of Public
Health genetics, genetic disease in adults and the porphyrias.
Dr Tishler also trains medical students, residents, genetic counseling
students and clinical genetics fellows.
Recently, Boston Magazine's February issue listed Dr. Tishler
as one of Boston's Top Doctors for women in the area of Genetic
Counseling. We can understand why. His porphyria patients, who
contact the APF office, are devoted to him and always thank us
for providing his name as a porphyria specialist.
